Self-Propelled Balers

The power unit and baler work as one so you watch the windrow and place bales exactly where you want them. Automated wrap, tailgate and ejection help every bale look the same with fewer inputs. Suspension, a quiet cab and intuitive controls help reduce fatigue so operators stay productive.

The Vermeer Self-Propelled Baler Lineup

One Machine. Faster Turns. Repeatable Bales.

Vermeer self-propelled balers are designed to change the way hay producers bale. Instead of pairing a tractor with a pull-type baler, these machines combine the power unit and baler into one purpose-built system for better visibility, fast headland turns and repeatable bale cycles.

The current Vermeer self-propelled baler lineup includes ZR-4S and ZR5-1200. Both models are built to help operators bale with improved control, comfort, automation and speed.

The ZR-4S is optimized for 4-ft bales, with a wide-visibility cab, pickup and tailgate cameras, plus in-cab statistics and adjustments.

The ZR5-1200 features a self-propelled, zero-turn design for fast, precise baling, with a comfortable cab, heated and cooled seat, cameras and automated bale functions.
