Chinook has been a major contributor to the success of our business. The level of support from part's to service and sales is remarkable. We've been customers there since 2006 and have bought numerous items over the years.

We use 350 excavators, 480 excavators, and 980 loaders (Hyundai). Our breakdowns are fewer, our fuel economy is much better, and our production time has significantly improved. There are too many positive aspects to mention about Chinook Equipment, but from day one, the relationship has been phenomenal. From service to sales, the company has been amazing.

We acquired our 1st Hyundai wheel loaders in January of 2022. When they were delivered by Chinook Equipment, Rob Bassett let me know that they would be bringing in a Hyundai HX480AL excavator later in the spring and wondered if we wanted to have a demo. I told him we would be very interested in a demo, but honestly had no interest in purchasing a new excavator. Of course, he said absolutely no obligation, just a demo. The HX480AL arrived for demo and it took all of about 1 day to talk myself out of NOT needing a new machine! The Hyundai HX480AL has proven to be a valuable asset for us, and it has loaded better than 2500 tonnes of pit run per production day into trucks feeding a crushing wash plant.
